RESOLUTION REQUESTING REDUCTION OF
THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT TAX LEVY FOR FY 2008 -2009
IN CORPORATE FUND ONLY
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont adopted Ordinance o -td-I •o8 , Ordinance for Levying and
Assessing of Taxes for all Corporate Purposes for FY 2008 -2009 on December 8, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont Tax Levy for FY2008 -2009 may be adjusted by the County
Clerk to comply with the requirements of PTELL; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont desires that any reduction to the Village of Lemont Tax Levy
for FY 2008 -2009 be made only in the Corporate Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees as follows:
1. The County Clerk is hereby directed that any reduction to the Village of Lemont Tax Levy
for FY 2008 -2009 should be made only in the Corporate Fund.
2. This Resolution shall become effective upon passage, approval and publication in the
manner provided by law.
3. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions inconsistent with this Resolution are hereby
expressly repealed.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL, AND DU PAGE, ILLINOIS, on this 8th
day of December , 2008.
