VILLAGE OF LENONI: RESOLUTION NO. 9 1 , 05 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A GREEN PLAN FOR LEMONT ADOPTED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT THIS 22 " DAY OF JUNE, 2009 Published in pamphlet form by Authority of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont, Counties of Cook, Will and DuPage, Illinois, this 22°d day of June, 2009. RESOLUTION NO. - 1-11 -09 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A GREEN PLAN FOR LEMONT WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont passed Resolution R- 77 -07, a Resolution to Commitment of Conservation Efforts, on November 26, 2007; and WHEREAS, said resolution created the "Green Lemont Initiative" to foster cooperation between organizations in Lemont on environmental issues and educate residents on environmental issues; and WHEREAS, as part of the Green Lemont Initiative the Village staff has prepared "the Green Plan: Goals and Objectives for Creating an Environmentally Friendly Community" to guide Village officials, staff, and community leaders in conserving resources, safeguarding the environment, and improving the livability of Lemont; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont that the "Green Plan: Goals and Objectives for Creating an Environmentally Friendly Community," attached as Exhibit A, is hereby adopted. PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL, AND DuPAGE, ILLINOIS, on this 22nd day of June, 2009.
