O-06-09 Ord Disignating Gateway Redevelopment Project Tax Increment(2) ORDINANCE NO. 0 - oLi • D AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, ILLINOIS GATEWAY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA TAX INCREMENT FINANCE, VILLAGE OF LEMONT, GATEWAY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA, REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND PROJECT, JUNE 2008 WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont, Illinois (the "Municipality ") has adopted and approved the "Gateway Redevelopment Project Area Tax Increment Finance, Village of Lemont, Gateway Redevelopment Project Area, Redevelopment Plan and Project, June 2008," and the related redevelopment project (the "Redevelopment Plan" and "Redevelopment Project ") for the Municipality's proposed Gateway Redevelopment Project Area (the "Redevelopment Project Area," as described in the attached Exhibit A) described in the Redevelopment Plan, and under the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act (65 ILCS 5/11- 74.4 -1 et seq., as supplemented and amended (the "TIF Act ")). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, ILLINOIS, as follows: Section 1. The Municipality hereby designates the real estate described in the attached Exhibit A, "Gateway Redevelopment Project Area," as a redevelopment project area under the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act (65 ILCS 5/11- 74.4 -1 et seq., as supplemented and amended), and as the Redevelopment Project Area hereunder. Section 2.
