OF WALKER ROAD
(HERITAGE PARK)
WHEREAS, Lemont Properties of Illinois, LLC, hereinafter referred to as "the
Petitioner," is the owner of the subject property consisting of 14 parcels covering approximately
4.62 acres, located on Main Street west of Walker Road and legally described in Exhibit "A"
attached; and
WHEREAS, the Petitioner made application under the provisions of the Lemont Zoning
Ordinance for preliminary plat approval, special use for a planned unit development and zoning
map amendment to Lemont R -6 Multi- Family Residential District Special Use PUD from Cook
County R -4 Single Family Residence District; and
WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees approved Ordinance 0- 44 -07, granting
approval said requests, on June 11, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the Petitioner prefers to delay the start of the project due to market
considerations, and has therefore requested this amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, DuPAGE, AND
WILL, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Ordinance 0 -44 -07 is amended as follows:
2. The zoning of the property shall revert to R 1 Single Family Detached Residential if
ordinance, If a complete final PUD plan/plat application has not been received by the
Village by June 11, 2010, the preliminary plan and plat approval, special use for a
planned unit development, and zoning map amendment for the subject property shall
expire and the zoning of the property shall revert to the R -1 Single - Family Detached
Residential zoning district.
Section 2. That all other Sections and Conditions of Ordinance 0 -44 -07 remain as they
were upon approval by the Village Board of Trustees on June 11, 2007.
