RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT OF SUBDIVISION FOR SMITH
FARMS SUBDIVISION IN LEMONT, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, Ralph J. Vaivada, hereinafter referred to as "the petitioner" is the owner of
certain property consisting of approximately 10.82 acres legally described in Exhibit "A ", which
is attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has prepared a Preliminary Plat of Subdivision known as
SMITH FARMS SUBDIVISION, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the Lemont Zoning Board of Appeals at its meeting of May 20, 2003
reviewed the preliminary plat and submitted its recommendations as required by Village of
Lemont ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Lemont Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended approval of said
plat; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont have
determined the proposed Preliminary Plat of Subdivision to be in the best interest of the Village
of Lemont.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees that
the Preliminary Plat for SMITH FARMS SUBDIVISION, which is attached hereto as Exhibit "
"B" and made a part hereof, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL, AND DUPAGE,
ILLINOIS, on this 25th' day of August, 2003.
