RESOLUTION SUBDIVIDING ZEMIRA'S CONSOLIDATION
IN RUFFLED FEATHERS SUBDIVISION
(Zemira and Dorothy Jones)
WHEREAS, the petitioners Zemira and Dorothy Jones are the owners of certain
property known as Zemira's Consolidation, formerly known as Lots 27, 28 and 29 in Ruffled
Feathers Subdivision, generally located southeast of Archer Avenue in Lemont, Illinois,
consolidated by Resolution R -54 -01 on October 8, 2001, legally described in Exhibit "A ",
attached; and
WHEREAS, the petitioners desire to re- subdivide the consolidated property into three
lots, similar to the original plat of lots 27, 28 and 29; and
WHEREAS, the petitioners have prepared a Plat of Subdivision for the subject
property; and
WHEREAS, the Plat of Subdivision is in substantial conformance with the physical
development policies and standards of the Village of Lemont; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance 0- 25 -99, the Community Development Director has
recommended approval of the Plat of Subdivision.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Lemont as follows:
Section 1. That prior Resolution R- 66 -03, which on September 8, 2003, approved a two
lot subdivision of he subject property, is hereby rescinded.
Section 2. That the Plat of Subdivision for Zemira and Dorothy Jones, which is attached
hereto and made part hereof, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL, AND DUPAGE, ILLINOIS,
on this 27th day of October, 2003.
