FOR A 5.5 ACRE PARCEL GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE EAST SIDE
OF PRAIRIE AVENUE, WEST OF AND ADJACENT TO COG HILL AND
KNOWN AS McRYAN SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont has received a Plat of
Subdivision, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" for property legally
described as follows:
THAT PART OF THE EAST 1/2 OF THE WEST 1/2 OF THE NORTHWEST 1/4
OF SECTION 27, TOWNSHIP 37 NORTH, RANGE 11, EAST OF THE THIRD
PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS BOUNDED AND
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT A POINT ON THE EAST LINE OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF
THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SAID SECTION 27, A DISTANCE OF 1160.00
FEET NORTH OF THE SOUTH LINE OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF THE
NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SAID SECTION 27; THENCE WESTERLY PARALLEL
WITH THE SOUTH LINE OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF THE NORTHWEST 1/4
OF SAID SECTION 27 A DISTANCE OF 277.24 FEET, THENCE NORTHERLY
894.0 FEET TO A POINT THAT IS 276.70 FEET WESTERLY OF THE EAST
LINE OF THE EAST 1/2 OF THE WEST 1/2 OF THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF
SAID SECTION 27, THENCE EASTERLY PARALLEL WITH THE SOUTH LINE
OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SAID SECTION 27,
A DISTANCE OF 276.70 FEET, THENCE SOUTHERLY ON THE EAST LINE
OF THE EAST 1/2 OF THE WEST 1/2 OF THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SAID
SECTION 27, A DISTANCE OF 894.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF
BEGINNING IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, the petitioner is the owner of certain property
legally described in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and made
part hereof; and
WHEREAS, said property is located within one - and - one -half
miles of the Village of Lemont; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has prepared a Plat of Subdivision for
the subject property, which is known as McRyan Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the Lemont Planning and Zoning Commission has
reviewed and recommended approval of said Plat at its meeting of
August 16, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the Plat of Subdivision is in conformance with the
policies and standards of the Village of Lemont.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Lemont that the Plat of Subdivision for
McRyan Subdivision which is attached hereto and made part hereof,
is hereby approved on the condition that contributions to the
taxing districts are paid in accordance with Ordinance #606.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL, AND DuPAGE,
