ITEM V.B.2 ORDINANCE NO. -94; PARKING - HANDICAP PARKING BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont that the Lemont Municipal Code, Chapter 10.16, Section 10.16.80 Subsection C be amended as follows: Subsection C Any person found guilty of violating the provisions of this section shall be fined one hundred dollars in addition to any costs or charges resulting from the removal and storage of any motor vehicle authorized by Subsection B of this section. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the matter provided by law. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith shall be and the same are hereby repealed. The Village Clerk of the Village of Lemont shall certify to the adoption on this Ordinance and cause the same to be published in pamphlet form. Bluis January 9, 1996 TO Mayor / Village Board SUBJECT Fine Increase For Handicapped Parking Effective January 1, 1996 the State fine for illegally parking in spaces reserved for handicapped motorists has been raised from $50.00 to $100.00. I have spoken to the Attorney for the Village and he agrees the Village should amend Local Ordinance 10.16.080, Section C, to read; "Any person found guilty of violating the provisions of this section shall be fined $100.00 in addition to any costs or charges resulting from the removal and storage of any motor vehicle authorized by subsection B of the section ".
