RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PLAT OF SUBDIVISION
FOR A 58.42 ACRE PARCEL GENERALLY LOCATED BETWEEN 127TH STREET
AND McCARTHY ROAD; APPROXIMATELY 1/2 MILE EAST OF STATE
STREET IN LEMONT, ILLINOIS AND KNOWN AS
COVINGTON KNOLLS, UNIT ONE
WHEREAS, the petitioner is the owner of certain property
consisting of approximately 58.42 acres generally located between
127th Street and McCarthy Road, approximately,-J/2: zrie7 east of
State Street in Lemont, Illinois and legallyµ dg.srabe4a ;xhi;lit.
"A" attached; and
WHEREAS, the pe i aphet has prepared, in conjunction with a
Planned Unit Developent, ar�Final Plat of Subdivision for the
subject property, which is known as Covington Knolls, Unit One; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Lemont approved the Planned Unit Development on July 19, 1994; and
WHEREAS the developer has submitted the Final Plat of
Subdivision for 110 single - family homes to be known as Covington
Knolls, Unit One, attached hereto as Exhibit "B ", and;
WHEREAS, the Final Plat of Subdivision is in conformance with
the Preliminary Plat as well as the physical development policies
and standards of the Village of Lemont.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Lemont that the Final Plat for
Convington Knolls, Unit One, which is attached hereto and made part
hereof, is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the signing and recording of the
Final Plat shall be subject to approval of final engineering and
posting of an irrevocable letter of credit, equal to the estimate
of probable cost of public improvements as reviewed and recommended
by the Village Engineer.
