ANNEXATION ORDINANCE FOR HIGH SCHOOL PROPERTY WHEREAS, the territory described hereinafter described is not within the corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Lemont; and, WHEREAS, the land proposed to be annexed will continue to be serviced by the same Fire Protection District and Library District and that all notices required by statute have been complied with; and WHEREAS, the territory is wholly bounded by the Village of Lemont and is in compliance with the requirements of Chapter 24, Section 7 -1 -13; and, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTY OF COOK, STATE OF ILLINOIS, as follows: SECTION 1: That the following described territory: That part of Lot 56 in County Clerk's Division of Section 21, Township 37 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as lying West of and adjacent to McCarthy Pointe Subdivision and South of the South Line of Lots 9 and 10 and said South Line extended West in McCarthy Pointe Subdivision of part of the Southwest quarter of Section 21, Township 37 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, as recorded January 24, 1990 as Document No. 90- 038336, all in Cook County, Illinois. being indicated on an accurate map of the annexed territory, (which is appended to and made a part of this Ordinance), is hereby annexed to the Village of Lemont, County of Cook, State of Illinois. SECTION 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to record with the DuPage County Recorder of Deeds and to file with the County Clerk a certified copy of this Ordinance together with an accurate map of the territory annexed appended to this Ordinance. fr. • SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law. SECTION 4: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith shall be and the same are hereby repealed.
