AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE VILLAGE OF
LEMONT FOR .88 ACRES FROM COOK COUNTY C -4 GENERAL COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT TO VILLAGE OF LEMONT B -3 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
AT 12241 SOUTH ARCHER AVENUE, LEMONT, ILLINOIS

WHEREAS, Wojciech and Maria Gubala, hereinafter identified as
"the Petitioner ", are the owners of a .88 acre parcel, hereinafter
referred to as "the subject property ", located at 12241 South
Archer Avenue and legally described in Exhibit "A ".
WHEREAS, the Petitioner made application under the provisions
of the Lemont Zoning Ordinance for annexation and a zoning map
amendment from Cook County C -4 District to Village of Lemont B -3
District; and
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission of the Village of
Lemont, Illinois (the "Village ") did heretofore commence and
conduct a Public Hearing on February 7, 1995 for approval of a
zoning map amendment; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing was made in
the manner provided by law and was published in the Lemont
Metropolitan, a newspaper of general circulation within the
Village; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont Board of Trustees, after a
public hearing as required by law, approved an annexation agreement
between the Village and the Petitioner, which agreement requires
the Village of Lemont to adopt an ordinance amending the zoning
map; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
have determined that the best interests of the Village will . be
served by the adoption of a zoning map amendment; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
approve the zoning map amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, DuPAGE, AND
WILL, ILLINOIS:
The subject property described above be and the same is hereby
rezoned from its present Cook County C -4 General Commercial
District Zoning Classification to Village of Lemont B -3 Commercial
District. The zoning map of the Village of Lemont be and the same
is hereby amended in accordance with the provisions of this
Ordinance.
THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND
AFTER ITS PASSAGE, APPROVAL AND PUBLICATION IN A MANNER PROVIDED BY
LAW.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGES OF LEMONT, CO NTIES OF COOK, DUPAGE AND WILL, ILLINOIS,
