O-925-95 10/09/95ITEM V.4 VILLAGE OF LEMONT ORDINANCE NO. fc:32 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.12 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED THROUGH, STOP, AND ONE -WAY STREETS ADOPTED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT This '9day of Se-re 1995. AND ONE -WAY STREETS BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont that the Lemont Municipal Code Chapter 10.12 be amended to add the following through streets and stop sign intersections to Chapter 10.12 as follows: 10.12.010 THROUGH STREETS The driver of a vehicle shall stop at the entrance to a through street and shall yield the right of way to other vehicles which have entered the intersection, or which are approaching so close on a through street as to constitute an immediate hazard, unless directed otherwise by a traffic officer or a traffic control signal. The following streets or portions thereof are hereby designated as through streets: 32. Chestnut Crossing. 33. Ashbury Trail. 10.12.032 PARTIAL-STOP INTERSECTIONS (INCLUDING "T" INTERSECTIONS AND TWO -WAY). It is unlawful to operate any vehicle in violation of the following posted stop signs: 197. Ashbury Drive stops for 129th Street. 198. Ashbury Drive stops for Archer Avenue. 199. Orchard Trail stops for Ashbury Drive. 200. Turnbury Trail stops for Ashbury Drive. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith shall be and the same are hereby repealed. All traffic control signs shall be erected within sixty (60) days of the date of approval of this ordinance. The Village Clerk of the Village of Lemont shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published in pamphlet form.
