R-282-93 Extending preliminary plat approval of oak Ridge subdivisionRESOLUTION a g RESOLUTION EXTENDING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL OF OAK RIDGE SUBDIVISION WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont adopted an Annexation Agreement on July 13, 1992, for a 42 acre parcel generally located north of Bluff Oaks Subdivision and south of Davey Road and legally described in Exhibit "A ", which is hereto attached; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said Annexation Agreement, the subject property was annexed to the Village of Lemont by Ordinance 745 on July 13, 1992, for a planned development with single - family residential use to be known as Oak Ridge Estates; and WHEREAS, under the terms of the agreement, both parties acknowledged that the State of Illinois had undertaken preliminary studies to ascertain if a portion of the subject property would be required for right -of -way purposes; and WHEREAS, subsequent to the acquisition of right -of -way, the Village agreed to approve a revised plat for one -acre lots with a density not to exceed the .67 dwelling units per acre approved under the original preliminary plat, which is attached hereto as Exhibit "B"; and WHEREAS, the property owner has requested a six month extension to submit a revised preliminary plat as the Illinois Department of Transportation has recently confirmed its desire to acquire a portion of the property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees that the Preliminary Plat approval for the planned development to be known as Oak Ridge Estates is hereby extended until March 1, 1994. 2 PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, OUNTIES OF COOK, WILL, AND DU PAGE, ILLINOIS, on this /3` day of -v2. , 1993. Dear Ms. Jenkins: Office: Suite 319 15 Salt Creek Lane Hinsdale, Illinois Thank you for your letter dated May 10th, 1993 concerning the preliminary plat on the above captioned property. Last week the Illinois Department of Transportation (I.D.O.T.) has finally indicated and confirmed their desire to acquire a part of the land in this ownership for the 1 -355 extension (FAP 340). I.D.O.T.'s Parcel designations are 1X40113 and 1X40114. Because of the length of time I.D.O.T. has taken to formalize the property they desire it is requested that the Village of Lemont extend the preliminary plat approval for a period of six months to hopefully allow this matter to be concluded within that time frame. Once the owners complete the I.0.O.T. matter we will submit a revised preliminary plat under the terms of the Preannexation Agreement of last July (1992). Thank you in advance for submitting this request to the appropriate people and for advising us if there is anything further that is suggested we do as agents for the owners.
