WHEREAS, Century Care Management, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "the Petitioner ", filed an application for annexation to the Village and for an amendment of the zoning map classification of the subject property; and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Lemont, Illinois conducted a Public Hearing on October 5, 1993 on the petitioner's request for a zoning map amendment; and 2 WHEREAS, notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing was made in the manner provided by law and was published in the Lemont Metropolitan, a newspaper of general circulation within the Village; and WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont Board of Trustees, after a public hearing as required by law, approved an annexation agreement between the Village and the owners of the subject property, which agreement requires the Village of Lemont to amend the zoning classification of the subject property as described herein; and WHEREAS, the proposed zoning district classification is generally consistent with the Village Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village have determined that the best interests of the Village will be served by the adoption of an ordinance to amend the zoning classification of the subject property as specified below; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village approve the amendment of the Lemont Zoning Map for the subject property pursuant to 111.Rev.Stat.Ch.24, 11- 13 -14. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, DuPAGE, AND WILL, ILLINOIS: R -5 Single - family Attached Residence District.
