AN ORDINANCE REVISING THE NON - EXCLUSIVE
CABLE TELEVISION CABLE FRANCHISE GRANTED TO
CONTINENTAL CABLEVISION OF WILL COUNTY, L.P.
TO REMOVE THE "FM SERVICE" AND REPLACE IT WITH VIDEO SERVICES
WHEREAS, Continental Cablevision of Will County is undertaking modifications
to its plant and technical operations to increase channel capacity; and
WHEREAS, Continental Cablevision of Will County plans to utilize all the
frequencies on the cable television bandwidth to provide additional video programming
services; and
WHEREAS, technological advances in television and stereo component equipment
have rendered obsolete the "FM Service" provided by Continental; and
WHEREAS, a minimum number of Continental Cablevision of Will County
customers utilize the service; and
WHEREAS, Continental Cablevision of Will County will provide up to six (6)
additional video programming services to the cablesystem.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT,
COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL, AND DU PAGE, STATE OF ILLINOIS:
Section l: That the Section 10, Paragraph C, in the franchise agreement
with Continental Cablevision of Will County, which requires the provision of FM
radio service, be repealed in its entirety.
Section 2: That all other terms and conditions in the franchise agreement
between Continental Cablevision of Will County and the Village of Lemont remain
in effect.
Section 3: Should Continental Cablevision contemplate any increase in
rates prior to benchmark permitted increases or in excess of the benchmark
permitted increases, Continental Cablevision will provide the Village with sixty (60)
day notice so that the Village may certify as a rate regulator prior to any increase,
if it so chooses.

Section 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and acceptance by Continental Cablevision at the earliest period
allowed by law.
