A RESOLUTION4OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT
COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, RATIFYING ACTION TO CORRECT
A LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT AREA OF THE
DOWNTOWN LEMONT TAX INCREMENT FINANCING
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont has published a Notice of Public Hearing and
adopted boundaries of the Downtown Lemont Tax Increment Financing Redevelopment
Project legally described as follows:
(See attached legal description which has been
identified as Exhibit A and made a part hereof)
WHEREAS, a scrivener's error has omitted a small portion of one parcel. The one
parcel being tax exempt and being very small in area; and
WHEREAS, the omission of one parcel, due to the scrivener's error, will not have
any substantial effect or economic impact on the district as proposed; and
WHEREAS, the area has been redefined to include this parcel which was originally
omitted in error.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Lemont, Cook County, Illinois as follows:
1. The record will be corrected to reflect the correct legal description; and
2. That all documents are modified and ratified to show the legal description,
attached and made a part hereof in Exhibit "A ", to be the true and correct legal
description for the Downtown Lemont Tax Increment Financing Redevelopment Project.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTY OF COOK, ILLINOIS, on this 10th day of
June, 1991.

That part of the South half of Section 20, Township 37 North, Range 11
East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows:
'Beginning at the Northeast corner of said South half of Section 20;

and parallel to the North line of the North Reserve of the Illinois and
Michigan Canal; thence Westerly 400 feet along last described line to
the East right -of -way line of State Street; thence Northerly 80 feet
along last said East right -of -way line to the South line of the original
Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad right -of -way; thence Southeasterly

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that only those streets, highways, and operations as listed and described on the ap-
proved Municipal Estimate of Maintenance Costs, including supplemental or revised estimates approved in connec-
tion with this resolution, are eligible for maintenance with Motor Fuel Tax funds during the period as specified above.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk shall, as soon as practicable after the close of the period as given
above, submit to the Department of Transportation, on forms furnished by said Department, a certified statement
