RESOLUTION APPROVING A PLAT OF VACATION
FOR PUBLIC UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS AT
1202 STATE STREET, LEMONT, ILLINOIS
(ASPI RE- SUBDIVISION /JEWEL -OSCO)
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont has received a Plat of Vacation for public utility and
drainage easements, attached as Exhibit "A ", for property located at 1202 State Street (ASPI
Re- subdivision /Jewel -Osco) in Lemont, Illinois which is legally described in Exhibit "B"
attached; and
WHEREAS, the proposed development on the subject property would encroach on
the existing public utility and drainage easements; and
WHEREAS, the public utility and drainage easements will not be utilized as part of
the proposed development; and
WHEREAS, the public utility and drainage easements will be relocated elsewhere on
the subject property, and;
WHEREAS, the vacation of said easement will allow for more orderly development
of the property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Lemont that the Plat of Easement Vacation attached hereto be hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF LE NT COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DuPAGE, ILLINOIS, on this
