AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT FROM R -1 SINGLE - FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO ORI OFFICE/RESEARCH/LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT ( Southeast Comer of Davey Road and Marmon Road, Will County) WHEREAS, Pratima N. Shah, Ann Dralle and Jerry Jursa, hereinafter referred to as "the Petitioners," are the owners of 40.02 acre parcel, hereinafter referred to as "the subject property," generally located at Davey Road and Marmon Road in Lemont, Illinois and legally described in Exhibit "A." WHEREAS, the Petitioners made application under the provisions of the Lemont Zoning Ordinance 0- 26 -99, for a Zoning Map Amendment from Village of Lemont R -1 to ORI Office/Research/Light Industrial District; and WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission of the Village of Lemont, Illinois (the "Village ") did heretofore commence and conduct a Public Hearing on October 19, 1999 for approval of a Zoning Map Amendment; and WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing was made in the manner provided by law and was published in the Lemont Metropolitan, a newspaper of general circulation within the Village; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village have determined that the best interests of the Village will be served by approving the Zoning Map Amendment as described herein; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDALNED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, DuPAGE, AND WILL, ILLLNOIS: SECTION 1: Zoning District Change. The subject properties described above are hereby rezoned from the present Village of Lemont R -1 Single- family Detached Residence District to Village of Lemont ORI Office/Research/Industrial District.
