RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALE OF VILLAGE OF LEMONT PROPERTY
TO THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION ADJACENT TO
THE PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY ON 127TH STREET.
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont is in support of the realignment of 127th Street at
Archer Avenue by the Illinois Department of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont has reviewed all appraisals and legal documents
for the sale of property to the Illinois Department of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, the Illinois Department of Transportation will pay $23,000 (twenty
three thousand dollars) to the Village of Lemont for the purchase of approximately
8,500 square feet of Village of Lemont property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees
that the attached deed by approved.
