A RESOLUTION APPROVING ACCEPTANCE
OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS & REDUCING THE LETTER OF CREDIT
FOR EAST STREET IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont has adopted Ordinance 456, the Subdivision Regulations
of the Municipal Code, to provide for the orderly growth of the Village and those territories within
one and one half miles of the corporate limits; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section X of the Subdivision Control Ordinance, the Village
Board of Trustees shall consider requests to accept public improvements upon completion of same;
and
WHEREAS, John G. Prodromos, as the developer of property along East Street has
submitted a bill of sale and has petitioned the Village for acceptance of the roadway improvements
along part of East Street; and
WHEREAS, Village Staff and Village Engineer have reviewed the East Street improvements
for compliance with approved plans and the Lemont Subdivision Control Ordinance and
recommended approval of the request; and
WHEREAS, the Village will reduce the letter of credit by $19,959.00 leaving a balance of
$1,300.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village of Lemont President and Board
of Trustees hereby accept the Public Improvements for East Street and reduce the letter of credit to
$1,300.00.

THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, DuPAGE AND WILL, ILLINOIS, on this
