R-68-99 Approving Engineering Agreement With McDonough Assosciates for Land Acquisition Services Relating to 127th Street ImprovementsRESOLUTION: (d"� RESOLUTION APPROVING ENGINEERING AGREEMENT WITH McDONOUGH ASSOCIATES FOR LAND ACQUISITION SERVICES RELATING TO 127TH STREET IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont is proceeding to provide roadway improvements to 127th Street between State Street and Archer Avenue, and WHEREAS, the improvements will necessitate the acquisition of 25 parcels of land within the confines of this project, and WHEREAS, it is necessary to undertake the preparation of plats and legals to begin this acquisition process. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the engineering services agreement with McDonough Associates is hereby approved. The LA Agrees, 1. To pay the ENGINEER as compensation for all services performed as stipulated in paragraphs laird, 2, 3, 5 and 8 in accordance with one of the following methods indicated by a check mark a. ❑ A sum of money equal to percent of the awarded contract cost of the proposed improvement as approved by the DEPARTMENT. b. ❑ A sum of money equal to the percent of the awarded contract cost for the proposed improvement as approved by the DEPARTMENT based. on the following schedule: Schedule for Percentages eased on Awarded Contract Cost Awarded Cost Percentage Fees Under $50,000 Cost plus a fixed fee not to exceed $55,098.75 Sea Exhibits Note: Not necessarily a percentage.
