O-69-98 08/24/98VILLAGE OF LEMONT ORDINANCE NO.d -Off ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15.04 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED BUILDING CODES ADOPTED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT This Published in pamphlet form by authority of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont, Counties of Cook, Will, and DuPagg, Illinois this day of 1998. ORDINANCE NO. ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15.04 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED BUILDING CODES BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont that Lemont Municipal Code Chapter 15.04. be amended to add the following new sections: 15.04.020.K EXTERIOR FACADE REQUIREMENTS In other than single - family or townhouse residential structures, the exterior facade for new construction must consist solely of face brick, stone, split face masonry, stucco, exterior insulation finishing system (EIFS) or other approved composite system. The use of metal exterior panels as a facade material is hereby prohibited unless approved in advance by the Village Board of Trustees. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law. The Village Clerk of the Village of Lemont shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published in pamphlet form.
