O-90-98 11/23/98ORDINANCE 9 - 90 9 Q AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DISCHARGE OF SANITARY AND INDUSTRIAL WASTE INTO ANY STORM SEWER OR DRAINAGE FACILITY CONSTRUCTED AS PART OF THE ARCHER AVENUE /127TH STREET IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, the State of Illinois acting by and through its Department of Transportation is desirous of improving Archer Avenue between Jane Avenue and Mirta Circle in the Village of Lemont; and WHEREAS, said project includes the installation of storm sewers and drainage facilities; and WHEREAS, a portion of the project runs through the intersection of 127th Street from Archer Avenue to St. Vincent's Drive including the installation of storm drains and drainage facilities; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont, counties of Cook, DuPage and Will, State of Illinois, as follows: Section 1. No person, firm, corporation or other entity shall discharge any sanitary waste or industrial waste water into any storm sewer or drainage facility constructed as part of the Archer Avenue improvement, said limits of improvement being between Jane Avenue and Mirta Circle, and a portion of which passes through the intersection of 127th Street between Archer Avenue and St. Vincent's Drive. Section 2. The Village Clerk of the Village of Lemont is authorized and directed to attach a copy of this Ordinance to the agreement dated November 23, 1998 by and between the State of Illinois and the Village of Lemont, relative to the Archer Avenue improvement. Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to the law.
