R.- 00 DATE OF APPROVAL RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EXTENSION FOR A SPECIAL USE APPROVAL ( Lemont Autocare) WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont has received a request for an extension for the Special Use approval for Lemont Autocare; and; WHEREAS, the Special Use approval expires on July 26, 2000 since no site development and/or building permit was issued for the development; and WHEREAS, the Petitioner, Michael Principe, is seeking an extension for the Special Use Approval until January 26, 2001. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont that the request for an Extension for Special Use Approval is hereby granted.. Principe, hereinafter referred to as 'the Petitioner ", is the owner of an 1.121 acre parcel, hereinafter referred to as "the subject property", located on the northwest corner of 127th Street and Timberline Drive, and legally described in Exhibit "A''. WHEREAS, the Petitioner made application under the provisions of the Lemont Zoning Ordinance of 1980 (No.426),for a request for a Special Use to allow for the construction and operation of a garage for automobile repairs in the B -3 District, pursuant to Section tiaE.E.2.m. of the Lemont Zoning Ordinance; and `HERE -4S, a notice of :he aforesaid Public Hea. ^.n a was made in the :manner provided by taw- and was published in the Lemont Mezrocolitan, a newspaper of General circulation within the Village; and 'WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission of the Village of Lemont, Illinois (the "Village ") did heretofore commence and conduct a Public Hearing on April 20, 1999 and May 4, 1999 for approval of a Special Use; and WHEREAS, the Plartring & Zoning Commission voted 3 -3 on the petition and therefore no recommendation was made to the ti illaae Board; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont, after a public hearing as required 'ov law-, approved a Special Use Permit; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village have determined that the best interests of the Village will oe served 'oy approving the Special Use Permit described herein. NOW. 'I1± REFORE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT. COLNTIES OF COOK, DUPAGE, AND WILL, LLLLNOIS: SECTION 1: Special Use.
