RESOLUTION APPROVING ONE LOT RESUBDIVISION
FOR McCUTCHEON'S RESUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the petitioner is the owner of certain property consisting of an approximately
1/4 acre parcel generally located at 916 Walter Street in Lemont, Illinois and legally described in
Exhibit "A" attached; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has prepared a Plat of Resubdivision for the subject property,
which is known as McCutcheon's Resubdivision; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has submitted the Plat of Resubdivision for 1 lot to be known as
McCutcheon's Resubdivision, attached hereto as Exhibit "B "; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has requested relief to the Lemont Subdivision Regulations to
allow a single lot division without minimum frontage on a public street; and
WHEREAS, the Lemont Planning & Zoning Commission at its meeting of July 15, 1997,
reviewed the Plat and recommended approval of the Variance to the Subdivision Regulations ; and
WHEREAS, per Ordinance 834 the Community Development Director has recommended
approval of the single lot division; and
WHEREAS, the Plat of Resubdivision is in substantial conformance with the physical
development policies and standards of the Village of Lemont.
NOW, 1HEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Lemont that the Plat for McCutcheon's Resubdivision, which is attached hereto and
made part hereof, is hereby approved as well as a Variance to the Lemont Subdivision Regulations
to permit a lot to exist without minimum frontage or a public street, pursuant to Section VIII- F -2 -b.
