ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15.06, "SINGLE- FAMILY BUILDING CODE" OF THE
BUILDING CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont that CHAPTER 15.06,
"SINGLE- FAMILY BUILDING CODE" OF THE BUILDING CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT
shall be amended as follows:
Chapter 15.06.020 — Amendments to Code - Section G2443 (620) " Unvented R00111
Heaters"
Delete sections G2443.2 (620.2), G2443.3 (620.3), G2443.4 (620.4), G2443.5 (620.5),
G2443.6 (620.6), G2443.7 (620.7), and G2443.8 (620.8) in their entirety and add the
following new Section G2443.1 (620.1):
Section G2443.1 (620.1) General. Unvented room heaters /fireplaces shall
not be permitted in any dwelling unit.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the
manner provided by law. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith shall be and the same
are hereby repealed. The Village Clerk of the Village of Lemont shall certify to the adoption of this
ordinance and cause the sane to be published in pamphlet form.
