AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9.16 OF THE LEMONT MUNICIPAL CODE: OFFENSES AGAINST PUBLIC PEACE AND DECENCY ADOPTED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT This 26th day of July , 2004 Published in pamphlet form by authority of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont, Counties of Cook, Will, and DuPage, Illinois this 26th day of July , 2004 ORDINANCE ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9.16 OF THE LEMONT MUNICIPAL CODE - OFFENSES AGAINST PUBLIC PEACE AND DECENCY NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont that: SECTION 1: A. Section 9.16.160 of the Village of Lemont Municipal Code is amended and is to read as follows: 9.16.160 Public Urination It is unlawful for any person to urinate in a public place that is not designated, i.e. public restroom, or in any place that is open to public view. B. Section 9.16.170 is added to the Village of Lemont Municipal Code, to read as follows: 9.16.170 — Violation — Penalty Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this chapter shall be fined not less than five dollars nor more then five hundred dollars for each offense, and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. SECTION 2: Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law. SECTION 3: Repealer: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith shall be and the same are hereby repealed. The Village Clerk of the Village of Lemont shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published in pamphlet form.
