A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL OF THE PRELIMINARY PUD
PLAN /PLAT OF SUBDIVISION FOR APPROXIMATELY SEVENTY -SIX (76)ACRES,
GENERALLY LOCATED IN THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF 127TH STREET
AND SMITH ROAD EXTENDED, IN LEMONT, ILLINOIS
(Briarcliffe Subdivision)
WHEREAS, Paul McNaughton, McNaughton Development, Inc., hereinafter referred
to as "the Petitioner ", is the contract owner of approximately 76 acres, hereinafter
referred to as the subject property" with the P.I.N. #'s: 22 -30- 302 -002 and 003 and 22-
30- 300 - 001 -003 in Lemont, Illinois, said parcel legally described in Exhibit "A" attached to
this Ordinance.
WHEREAS, the petitioner has prepared a Preliminary PUD Plan /Plat of Subdivision;
and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Lemont, Illinois, in
accordance with said Zoning Ordinance, conducted a Public Hearing on the petition on March
3, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended the rezoning to the
Village Board by a vote of 6 -0; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has submitted the Preliminary PUD Plan /Plat of
Subdivision for the Briarcliffe Subdivision, attached hereto as Exhibit "B "; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont have
determined the proposed subdivision to be in the best interest of the Village of Lemont.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
that the Preliminary PUD Plan /Plat of Subdivision, which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL, AND DUPAGE, ILLINOIS,
on this 24th day of March 2003.
