ORDINANCE t '/ AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WITH RICCIO CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION WHEREAS, The Village of Lemont is in need of construction services related to drainage and utility work in conjunction with the Stephen Street Reconstruction Project; and WHEREAS, The Village of Lemont seeks to utilize the construction firm of Riccio Construction Corporation; WHEREAS, The Village of Lemont desires to waive the advertisement for bid as required under 65 ILCS 5/8 -9 -1; WHERAS; the Village of Lemont, through its construction manager, and Riccio Construction Corporation have negotiated a construction proposal and contract for the services to be provided. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BORAD OF TRUSTEES that the Construction Proposal, attached hereto as Exhibit A is hereby approved and that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to sign the contract without the advertisement for bids.
