R-37-02 05/13/02RESOLUTION RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO JOHNSON BLACKTOP, INC. IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE STEPHEN STREET PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS AT SAFETY VILLAGE WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont requires construction services for a public parking lot at 55 Stephen Street adjacent to Safety Village; and WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont seeks to utilize the construction firm of Johnson Blacktop, Inc.; and WHEREAS, Johnson Blacktop, Inc. has submitted a low bid for such work in the amount of $93,077.70. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees that the Contract with of Johnson Blacktop, Inc., is hereby approved. PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DUPAGE, ILLINOIS, on this 13th day of May , 2002.
