ORDINANCE NO. o AN ORDINANCE GRANTING THE REQUEST FOR A SPECIAL USE FOR A RESIDENTIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) ON A 19.3 ACRE PARCEL, LOCATED WEST OF CHESTNUT CROSSING, BETWEEN 127m AND 129TH STREETS, INCLUDING 15200 WEST 127th STREET, 15181 AND 15209 WEST 129th STREET, AND A VACANT PARCEL FROM COOK COUNTY R-4 ZONING (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT) TO R -5 PUD (SINGLE FAMILY ATTACHED RESIDENCE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) IN LEMONT, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, Donald Stevens, Donven Homes, Inc. hereinafter referred to as "the Petitioner ", is the contract purchaser of an approximately 19.3 acre parcel, hereinafter referred to as "the subject property ", located west of Chestnut Crossing, between 1271 and 129' Streets, including 15200 West 12701 Street, 15181 and 15209 West 129th Street, and a vacant parcel in Lemont, Illinois. WHEREAS, the Petitioner made application under the provisions of the Lemont Zoning Ordinance for a residential planned unit development to rezone the parcel to R -5 PUD Zoning (Single Family Attached Residence Planned Unit Development) from Cook County R -4 Zoning (Single Family Residence District), pursuant under Sections XVI and XVIII I and J. WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Plan Commission of the Village of Lemont, Illinois, in accordance with said Zoning Ordinance, conducted a Public Hearing on the petition on December 04, 2001 and January 08, 2002; WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing was made in the manner provided by law and was published in the Lemont Reporter Met, a newspaper of general circulation within the Village; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Plan Commission have recommended approval of the request for a single family attached residential plan unit development (R -5 PUD) to the Village Board; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont, that the Petitioner, Donald Stevens, Donven Homes, Inc., be granted the requested single family attached residential plan unit development zoning (R -5 PUD) from Cook County R-4 Zoning (Single Family Residence District). Section 1. A zoning map amendment is granted to allow the change in the zoning classification of the parcel located west of Chestnut Crossing, between 127th and 129th Streets, including 15200 West 1270' Street, 15181 and 15209 West 12901 Street, and a vacant parcel to R -5 PUD Zoning (Single Family Attached Residence Planned Unit Development) from Cook County R-4 Zoning (Single Family Residence District), as illustrated in the Plat of Survey attached as Exhibit "A ".
