RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF A CHANGE ORDER #8
TO THE GMAX POLICE BUILDING CONTRACT WITH WIGHT FOR
SHARED STORM WATER DETENTION BASIN
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont approved a design/build contract with Wight Construction for the
construction of its new Police Facility; and
WHEREAS, the contract with Wight Construction included a Guaranteed Maximum Price for the
scope of the contract; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont requires the construction of a storm water detention basin in
conjunction with the Lemont Police Facility construction contract;
WHEREAS, on July 14, 2008 the Village Board passed a resolution approving a temporary
construction and permanent storm water and drainage easement from St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran
Church to construct said detention basin; and
WHEREAS, the shared storm water detention basin was not included in the scope of the Guaranteed
Maximum Price Contract but will be added as a change order to said contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees that a Change
Order to the Guaranteed Maximum Price Contract with Wight Construction shall be authorized for an amount
not to exceed $314,910.00.

THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COOK, WILL AND DU PAGE COUNTIES ILLINOIS on this
