LEMONT - BROMBEREK COMBINED
SCHOOL DISTRICT 113A PROPERTY ON 131ST STREET
WHEREAS, a written Petition signed by the Owner of Record of all the land within
territory hereinafter described has been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Lemont,
Counties of Cook, Will and DuPage, requesting that said territory be annexed to the Village
of Lemont; and
WHEREAS, there are no electors residing within said territory; and
WHEREAS, the territory is not within the corporate limits of any municipality, but is
contiguous to the Village of Lemont; and
WHEREAS, all petitions, documents, and other necessary legal requirements, are
in full compliance with the terms of the statutes of the State of Illinois specifically 65 ILCS
5/7 -1 -2; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Village of Lemont that the territory herein
be annexed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, W LL AND DUPAGE
as follows:
Section 1: That the following described territory
All that part of the North % of the South 1/2 of Section 34, Township 37 North, Range 11
East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying East of the centerline of Derby Road, except that
part lying within Foxhills Unit Two, a subdivision of parts of Lot 3 and 6 in Circuit Court
Partition, a subdivision of Section 34, Township 37 North, Range 11 together with parts of
Lots 2, 7 and 8 in County Clerk's Division of the South % of Section 34, Township 37 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
being indicated on an accurate map of the annexed territory, (which is appendaged to and
made a part of this Ordinance), is hereby annexed to the Village of Lemont, Counties of
Cook, Will and DuPage.
Section 2: The Village Clerk is hereby directed to record with the Recorder of Deeds
and to file with the County Clerk, a certified copy of this Ordinance together with an
accurate map of the territory annexed appended to this Ordinance.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.

IN THE MATTER OF:
LEMONT - BROMBEREK COMBINED SCHOOL DISTRICT 113A
PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
The undersigned Petitioner requests the annexation of the territory hereinafter
described to the Village of Lemont, Illinois, and in support of such request, Petitioner on
oath states as follows:
1. Petitioner is the owner of record of all the territory described as follows:
All that part of the North 1/2 of the South 'A of Section 34, Township 37 North,
Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying East of the centerline of
Derby Road, except that part lying within Foxhills Unit Two, a subdivision of parts
of Lot 3 and 6 in Circuit Court partition a subdivision of Section 34, Township 37
North, Range 11 together with parts of Lots 2, 7 and 8 in County Clerk's Division
of the South 1/2 of Section 34, Township 37 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
2. Permanent Tax Index No. 22 -34- 400 -016.
3. There are no electors residing on the territory.
4. Such territory is not within the corporate limits of any municipality but is or will
be contiguous to the Village of Lemont, Illinois.
5. The Village of Lemont does not provide for fire protection or public library
services within the boundaries of said territory.
AMENDMENT TO
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR
EXCHANGE OF REAL ESTATE MADE BY VILLAGE OF LEMONT AND
LEMONT - BROMBEREK COMBINED SCHOOL DISTRICT 113A
WHEREAS, an Intergovernmental Agreement was entered into by and between the
VILLAGE OF LEMONT, an Illinois Municipal Corporation ( "Village "), and the BOARD OF
EDUCATION OF LEMONT - BROMBEREK COMBINED SCHOOL DISTRICT 113A, a body
politic hereinafter sometimes referred to as ( "Board of Education ") in December of 2005;
and
WHEREAS, the parties are desirous of amending said Agreement to include
additional compensation to the Board of Education in connection with annexing the Board
of Education's Derby Road Property.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, parties agree to amend the
paragraph 3(a) of the Intergovernmental Agreement by adding the following:
"The Village agrees to waive any sewer or water connection fee and
recapture fee should the property be developed for any governmental
purpose ".
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have set their hands and seals this
25thday of October 2006.
