O-24-06 05/08/2006ORDINANCE NO. 6 "a' ' j- 2b AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ZONING MAP AMENDMENT FROM R -1 SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO R -2 SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED RESIDENCE DISTRICT AT 11S377 LEMONT ROAD IN LEMONT, ILLINOIS (AL'S SUBDIVISION) APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT THIS 8TH DAY OF MAY , 2006 PUBLISHED IN PAMPHLET FORM BY AUTHORITY OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DUPAGE, ILLINOIS, THIS 8TH DAY OF MAY, 2006 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ZONING MAP AMENDMENT FROM R -1 SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO R -2 SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED RESIDENCE DISTRICT AT 11S377 LEMONT ROAD IN LEMONT, ILLINOIS (AL'S SUBDIVISION) WHEREAS, Al Malley, hereinafter referred to as "the Petitioner ", acting on behalf of the owner of a parcel at 11 S377 Lemont Road in Lemont, Illinois, hereinafter referred to as "the subject property", PIN # 10 -08- 105 -008 in Lemont, Illinois; said parcel is legally described in "Exhibit A" attached to this Ordinance; and WHEREAS, the Petitioner made application under the provisions of the Lemont Zoning Ordinance for a zoning map amendment to R -2 Single Family Detached Residence District from R -1 Single Family Residential District; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Lemont, Illinois, in accordance with the Lemont Zoning Ordinance, conducted a Public Hearing on the petition on April 4, 2006 and has approved said Zoning Map Amendment by a vote of 5 -0, and recommends approval to the Village Board; and WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing was made in the manner provided by law and was published in the Daily Southtown, a newspaper of general circulation within the Village; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont, that the Petitioner be granted the requested Zoning Map Amendment from R -1 Single Family Detached Residence District to R -2 Single Family Detached Residence District. Section 1. A zoning map amendment is granted to allow the change in the zoning classification to Lemont R -2 Single Family Detached Residence District as illustrated in the Plat of Survey attached as Exhibit `B ". Section 2. The zoning map amendment shall lapse in the event the Petitioner does not file a complete application for a site development permit within one (1) year of the effective date of this Ordinance.
