Pruyne Street located south of Porter Street in Lemont, Illinois; and WHEREAS, this right-of-way is not being used by the Village to access any property; and WHEREAS, this right -of -way will be vacated to Lemont High School District 210, to be utilized for public use; and WHEREAS, the Village Trustees of the Village of Lemont conducted a public hearing pursuant to notice in connection with the said vacation; and WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing was made in the manner provided by law and was published in the Daily Southtown, a newspaper of general circulation within the Village; and WHEREAS, the Plat of Vacation, is attached hereto as Exhibit "A"; and WHEREAS, no evidence was presented in objection to said vacation and it is in the best interest of the Village of Lemont to vacate said right -of -way. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT THAT THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY BE VACATED IN FAVOR OF AND TRANSFERRED TO THE ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNER TO THE SOUTH: OF THAT PART OF PRUYNE STREET LYING SOUTHERLY OF A LINE DRAWN FROM THE NORTHEASTERLY CORNER OF LOT 1 IN BLOCK 31 TO THE NORTHWESTERLY CORNER OF LOT 2 IN BLOCK 30, ALL IN THE TOWN OF ATHENS A SUBDIVISION IN THE EAST HALF OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 37 NORTH, RANGE 11, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPLE MERIDIAN, IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS. Except that: 1. The Village of Lemont and Public Utilities hereby reserves an easement over, under and across the said vacated right -of -way for ingress, egress and public utilities. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith shall be and the same are hereby repealed.
