A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL OF A FINAL PLAT OF
SUBDIVISION FOR AN APPROXIMATELY 5.50 ACRE PARCEL IN LEMONT,
ILLINOIS KNOWN AS MAEGAN MEADOWS SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, Ironwood Development Company hereinafter referred to as "the Petitioner ", is the
acting agent for the builder /developer known as Morgan Builders of approximately 5.50 acres,
hereinafter referred to as "the subject property" with P.I.N. #'s: 22 -29- 300 -0015 and 22 -29- 300 -012 in
Lemont, Illinois, said parcels located east of Rose Court & west of Hermes Avenue and legally
described in Exhibit "A" attached to this Resolution.
WHEREAS, the petitioner has prepared a Final Plat of Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Lemont, Illinois, in accordance
with said Zoning Ordinance, conducted a Public Hearing on the petition on July 7, 2003, August 19,
2003 and February 2, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the Village Board on May 24, 2004 approved a preliminary plat of subdivision
for a seven -lot subdivision inclusive of one existing dwelling and a detention basin lot; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has submitted the Final Plat of Subdivision for the Maegan
Meadows Subdivision, attached hereto as Exhibit `B "; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont have determined
the proposed subdivision to be in the best interest of the Village of Lemont.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees that the
Final Plat of Subdivision, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby approved, with the
condition that Lot 6 is designated a storm water management easement prior to recording.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL, AND DuPAGE, ILLINOIS, on
this 18th day of April, 2005.
