A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL OF A FINAL PLAT OF
SUBDIVISION FOR AN APPROXIMATELY 10.82 ACRE PARCEL IN LEMONT,
ILLINOIS KNOWN AS SMITH FARMS SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, Ralph J. Vaivada, hereinafter referred to as "the petitioner" is the owner of certain
property consisting of approximately 10.82 acres legally described in Exhibit "A ", which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has prepared a Final Plat of Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Lemont, Illinois, in accordance
with said Zoning Ordinance, conducted a Public Hearing on the petition on April 7, 2003, May 5, 2003
and May 20, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Village Board on August 25, 2005 approved a preliminary plat of subdivision
for the Smith Farms Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has submitted the Final Plat of Subdivision for the Smith Farms
Subdivision, attached hereto as Exhibit `B "; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont have determined the
proposed subdivision to be in the best interest of the Village of Lemont.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees that the
Final Plat of Subdivision, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL, AND DuPAGE, ILLINOIS, on
this 8th day of August, 2005.
