O-16-05 02/14/2005ORDINANCE NO AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ZONING MAP AMENDMENT FROM R -1 SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO R -4 SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED RESIDENCE DISTRICT AT 1090 WALTER STREET IN LEMONT, ILLINOIS (JOHNSON PROPERTY) ADOPTED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT THIS 14TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 2005 PUBLISHED IN PAMPHLET FORM BY AUTHORITY OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COOK, DUPAGE, AND WILL COUNTIES, ILLINOIS THIS 14T11 DAY OF FEBRUARY, 2005. AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ZONING MAP AMENDMENT FROM R -1 SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO R -4 SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED RESIDENCE DISTRICT AT 1090 WALTER STREET IN LEMONT, ILLINOIS (JOHNSON PROPERTY) WHEREAS, Eric Johnson, hereinafter referred to as "the Petitioner ", is the owner of a parcel at 1090 Walter Street in Lemont, Illinois, hereinafter referred to as "the subject property", PIN # 22- 29 -300- 005 in Lemont, Illinois; said parcel is legally described in "Exhibit A" attached to this Ordinance; and WHEREAS, the Petitioner made application under the provisions of the Lemont Zoning Ordinance for a zoning map amendment to R -4 Single Family Detached Residence District from R -1 Single Family Residential District, pursuant under Sections XVI and XVIII I and J.; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Lemont, Illinois, in accordance with said Zoning Ordinance, conducted a Public Hearing on the petition on January 18, 2005 and February 1, 2005 and has approved said Zoning Map Amendment by a unanimous vote of 7 -0, and recommends approval to the Village Board; and WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing was made in the manner provided by law and was published in the Lemont Reporter Met, a newspaper of general circulation within the Village; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont, that the Petitioner, Eric Johnson, be granted the requested Zoning Map Amendment from R -1 Single Family Detached Residence District to R -4 Single Family Detached Residence District. Section 1. A zoning map amendment is granted to allow the change in the zoning classification to Lemont R -4 Single Family Detached Residence District as illustrated in the Plat of Survey attached as Exhibit `B ". Section 2. The zoning map amendment shall lapse in the event the Petitioner does not file a complete application for a site development permit within one (1) year of the effective date of this Ordinance.
