AN ORDINANCE GRANTING THE REQUEST FOR REZONING THE NORTH SIDE OF 131sT STREET,
APPROXIMATELY 1300 FEET WEST OF BELL ROAD, FROM CooK COUNTY R -3 TO LEMONT R -4 PUD
SINGLE - FAMILY RESIDENTS ZONING IN LEMONT, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, HomeWerks, LLC, hereinafter referred to as "the Petitioner ", is the owner
of a 68 acre parcel, hereinafter referred to as "the subject property ", located at the NORTH SIDE OF
131sT STREET, APPROXIMATELY 1300 FEET WEST OF BELL ROAD, in Lemont, Illinois; said parcel is
legally described in Exhibit "A" attached to this Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Petitioners made application under the provisions of the Lemont
Zoning Ordinance for the rezoning of the parcel in question to Lemont R -4 PUD Single Family ,
pursuant under Section VII(E); and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Lemont, Illinois, in
accordance with said Zoning Ordinance, conducted a Public Hearing on the petition on June 21,
2005; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing was made in the manner provided
by law and was published in the Lemont Reporter, a newspaper of general circulation within the
Village; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Lemont, that the Petitioner, HomeWerks, LLC, be granted the requested rezoning to
LEMONT R -4 PUD SINGLE - FAMILY RESIDENTS from Cook County R -3 Zoning, as illustrated in
the Plat of Survey attached as Exhibit "B ".
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL, AND DU PAGE, ILLINOIS,
