RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF
CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR THE
SINGER AVENUE SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT:
CUSTER AVENUE TO LOGAN AVENUE
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont requires additional services related to the construction of the
Logan / Warner/ Singer Paving Improvements, which new portion is Singer Avenue Sanitary Sewer
Replacement, from Custer Avenue to Logan Avenue;
WHEREAS, the Village awarded a Contract for said construction work to Riccio Construction Corp.,
who submitted the low bid in the amount of $861,882.05; and
WHEREAS, the additional work for the Singer Avenue Sanitary Sewer Replacement was not
anticipated at the time of the original bid, which necessitates a Change Order No. 1, in the total net
addition of $30,156.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees that the Change
Order No. 1, in the amount of an addition of $30,156.00 be hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE
OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DuPAGE, ILLINOIS, on this 27th day of
September, 2004.
