R-38-10 - Authorizing Village Administrator to Enter into Street Sweeper Lease AgreementRESOLUTION R-SS-‘ 10 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO A LEASE PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH STANDARD EQUIPMENT COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE OF A STREET SWEEPER WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont seeks to enter into a lease purchase agreement for the purpose of purchasing a new street sweeper; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont that: SECTION 1: That the Village Administrator is authorized to enter into a lease purchase agreement with Standard Equipment Company for the purchase of a 2010 Elgin Crosswind street sweeper with 2010 Navistar conventional chassis for a price of $193,640. SECTION 2: Effective Date: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law. The Village Clerk of the Village of Lemont shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published in pamphlet form.
