AN ORDINANCE REZONING APPROXIMATELY 8.52 ACRES LOCATED AT 16748 AND 16754 NEW AVENUE FROM COOK COUNTY I -1 TO LEMONT M -2 GENERAL MANUFACTURING DISTRICT (Cox and Tiedt Properties) WHEREAS, Norman A. Tiedt is the trustee of the Norman A. Tiedt Trust, owner of the property covering approximately 5.9 acres located at 16748 New Avenue; and WHEREAS, Donald H. Cox is the trustee of the Donald H. Cox Trust, owner of the property covering approximately 2.62 acres located at 16754 New Avenue; and WHEREAS, said properties at 16748 and 16754 New Avenue (the "Subject Properties ") are legally described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein; and WHEREAS, the Norman A. Tiedt and Donald H. Cox made applications under the provisions of the Lemont Unified Development Ordinance for annexation and rezoning of the Subject Properties from Cook County I -1 Restricted Industrial District to Village of Lemont M -2 General Manufacturing District; and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Village of Lemont, Illinois, in .accordance with Lemont Unified Development Ordinance, conducted a public hearing on said applications on March 17, 2010, and voted to recommend approval of the rezoning by a vote of 6 -0; and WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees, have reviewed the petitioners' applications, the record of the public hearing, and the findings and recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission; and WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees have passed on Ordinance annexing the Subject Properties to the Village of Lemont; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont that the Subject Properties, as described in Exhibits A are hereby rezoned to M -2 General Manufacturing District.
