SUMMARY/BACKGROUND
Seven (7) bids were received on August 14, 2026, for the 2026 Sidewalk Improvements
project, which work consists of Village -wide sidewalk removal and replacement, HMA
driveway removal and replacement, as well as all appurtenant construction.
The low bid amount was submitted by Strada Construction, in the amount of $149,482.00.
ANALYSIS
The 2026 Sidewalk Improvements project is consistent with the Village's 5-year Capital Plan
and is less than the amount budgeted for this year.

RESOLUTION NO. R- -26
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT 2026 SIDEWALK
IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
WHEREAS the Village of Lemont requires that the 2026 Sidewalk Improvements Project
be completed; and
WHEREAS, the Village seeks to utilize the services of Strada Construction for such
work; and
WHEREAS, Strada Construction, 1742 W. Armitage Ct., Addison, IL 60101 submitted
the lowest qualified bid for such work in the amount of $149,482.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Lemont, Counties of Cook, Will and DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
SECTION 1:
The agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A is hereby approved.
SECTION 2:
The Village Administrator is hereby authorized to execute the agreement and to make
minor changes to the document prior to execution that do not materially alter the Village's
obligations, to execute any other agreements and documentation as well as to take any other steps
necessary to carry out this resolution.
SECTION 3:
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as
provided by law.

THE VILLAG OF LEMONY, COUNTIES COOK, WILL, AND DUPAGE, ILLINOIS,

1. .00
THIS AGREEMENT, made and concluded the ' day of Wetween the Village of
Lemont, acting by and through the Village Administrator as the party of the first part, and
Strada Construction 1742 W. Armitage Ct., Addison, IL 60101, his/their executors,
administrators, successors or assigns, known as the party of the second part.
2. WITNESSETH: That for and in consideration of the payments and agreements
mentioned in the Proposal hereto attached, to be made and performed by the party of the first
part and according to the terms expressed in the Bond referring to these presents, the party of
the second part agrees with said party of the first part at his/their own proper cost and expense
to do all the work, furnish all the materials and all labor necessary to complete the work in
accordance with the Plans and Specifications hereinafter described, and in full compliance with
all of the terms of this agreement and the requirements of the Engineer under it.
3. AND, it is also understood and agreed that the Notice to Contractors, Special Provisions,
Proposal and Contract Bond hereto attached, and the Plans as prepared by HR Green, Inc. and
designated as 2026 Sidewalk Improvements Project all essential documents of this Contract,
and are a part hereto.
4. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said parties have executed these presents on the date
above mentioned.
