Briarcliffe and Rolling Meadows.

RE: 2026 Invest in Cook Letter of Support
Dear Ms. Killen
The Village of Lemont is currently seeking an Invest in Cook grant for the amount of $150,000. This
opportunity has the full support and backing from myself and the Village Board of Trustees. The area
requested to remediate has presented safety concerns for pedestrians crossing the road, because of the
high volume of traffic and high rate of speed of the vehicles. The Village of Lemont would like to thank
you for this opportunity to improve pedestrian safety.
Sincerely,
John Egofske
Village President
