to monthly premiums and reserve balances.

SUMMARY/BACKGROUND
The Village is a member of two consortiums:
1. Government Insurance Network (GIN) — provides health insurance coverage.
2. Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency (IRMA) — provides comprehensive
property, casualty, and workers' compensation risk management coverage.
The Village makes monthly premium payments and maintains reserve balances with each
agency. The reserve amounts are established annually by the respective GIN and IRMA
Boards.
The attached resolution authorizes the Village Administrator to approve the monthly premium
contributions and to adjust or increase the reserve amounts as required by GIN and IRMA.

A Resolution Authorizing the Village Administrator to approve
contributions to monthly premiums and reserve balances.
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont, Counties of Cook, Will and DuPage, Illinois, ("the
Village") is a municipality in the state of Illinois with full powers to enact ordinances and
adopt resolutions for the benefit of the residents of the Village; and
WHEREAS, the Village is a member of two insurance pools, Government Insurance
Network ("GIN") and Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency ("IRMA"); and
WHEREAS, the Village makes monthly premium contributions and adjusts the reserve
balance annually based on the direction of GIN and IRMA; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, DUPAGE,
AND WILL COUNTIES, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: The Village Administrator, in his discretion, is authorized to approve the
monthly premium contributions and adjust the reserve balance as directed by
GIN and IRMA and to take any other steps necessary to carry out this Resolution.
SECTION TWO: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval as provided by law.
ADOPTED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE
OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DUPAGE, ILLINOIS on this 271'
