R-49-24 Amending Resolution R-8-24 Approving a Plat of Easement`E1VIOIVT 418 Main Street I Lemont, IL 60439 TO: Village Board Meeting FROM: Jason Berry, Community Development THROUGH: SUBJECT: A Resolution R-49-24 Amending Resolution R-8-24 Approving a Plat of Easement (Watermain for Maley Road) DATE: July 22, 2024 SUMMARY/BACKGROUND A plat of easement was approved in January 2024 for a watermain over Maley Road for the redevelopment of 13275 and 13337 Main Street (J. B. Hunt). Due to security requirements at IMTT, the easement needed to be shortened. This amendment provides that change. ANALYSIS Consistency with Village Policy STAFF RECOMMENDATION Approve the Resolution. BOARD ACTION REQUESTED Motion to Approve the Resolution. "1'2 A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION R-8-24 APPROVING A PLAT OF EASEMENT (Watermain for Maley Road) ADOPTED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT THIS -247 DAY OF S, 2024 Published in pamphlet form by Authority of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont, Counties of Cook, Will and DuP e Illinois, this �* day of .2024 RESOLUTION NO. 1 A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION R-8-24 APPROVING A PLAT OF EASEMENT (Watermain for Maley Road) WHEREAS, the Compass Surveying LTD has prepared a revised Plat of Easement dated June 4, 2024 for a water main over Maley Road, a private road owned by IMTT-Illinois, LLC, attached hereto and legally described in Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, the easement will grant the Village of Lemont access to the watermain; and WHEREAS, the plat of easement as reviewed in accordance with Title 17 of Lemont, Illinois Municipal Code, Lemont Unified Development Ordinance and approved by the Planning and Economic Development Director and the Village Engineer; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have determined that the proposed plat of easement is in the best interest of the Village of Lemont. BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont, Counties of Cook, DuPage, and Will, Illinois, as follows: SECTION ONE: Incorporation of Recitals. The foregoing findings and recitals are hereby adopted as Section 1 of this Resolution and are incorporated by reference as if set forth verbatim herein. SECTION TWO: Plat Approval. The Plat of Easement for Maley Road, which is attached hereto and made part hereof as Exhibit A, is hereby approved APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL, AND DUPAGE, ILLINOIS, ON THIS ZZ' DAY OF UYM , 2024.
