RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR THE ILLINOIS STREET WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT — PHASE 5 PROJECT
(HOLMES STREET TO GRANT STREET)
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont requires that the Illinois Street Water Main
Replacement — Phase 5 project be completed; and
WHEREAS, the Village seeks to utilize the construction firm of Brothers Asphalt Paving,
Inc., for such work; and
WHEREAS, Brothers Asphalt Paving, Inc. submitted a low bid for such work in the
amount of $140,450.00.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees that
the Contract with Brothers Asphalt Paving, Inc. is hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DuPAGE, ILLINOIS,

we therefore recommend that the Contract be awarded to Brothers Asphalt Paving, 3215 South Stewart
Avenue Addison, IL 60101, in the amount of $140,450.00.
