RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING SUPPORT FOR THE NON - BINDING
STANDARDS IMPLEMENTING THE PRINCIPLES OF AGREEMENT FOR
THE HERITAGE CORRIDOR PLANNING COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Heritage Corridor Planning Council was formed in June 1994 by
sixteen units of local government, including the Village of Lemont, voluntarily entering into
intergovernmental agreements; and
WHEREAS, the Heritage Corridor Planning Council was formed for the purpose of
fostering intergovernmental cooperation, planning, and a common vision for land use,
transportation, and environmental matters within the Heritage Corridor; and
WHEREAS, the Heritage Corridor Planning Council has developed non - binding
standards to promote good planning principles within the Heritage Corridor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village of Lemont supports the
non - binding standards document entitled "Standards Implementing The Principles Of
Agreement For The Heritage Corridor Planning Council."
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DuPAGE, ILLINOIS,
