RESOLUTION APPROVING LOCAL AGENCY AGREEMENT FOR FEDERAL PARTICIPATION AND
LOCAL AGENCY AGREEMENT FOR FEDERAL PARTICIPATION
FOR THE MAIN STREET RESURFACING: STATE STREET TO ILLINOIS STREET
LAPP RESURFACING PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont requires Construction Engineering services related to the Main
Street (FAU 3587): State Street to Illinois Street project;
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont desires to enter into a Construction Engineering Services
Agreement for Federal Participation with Frank Novotny & Associates, Inc. and procure seventy
percent (70 %) Federal Funds for this work;
WHEREAS, the Village also has $440,000.00 in funds available for this construction engineering
services and construction work, and desires to appropriate same, with $132,000.00 (30 %) being
its local share for both construction and construction engineering services; and
WHEREAS, the Village Board has authorized the Village President to sign the Construction
Engineering Services Agreement for Federal Participation and the Local Agency Agreement for
Federal Participation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees that the agreements
attached hereto as Exhibit A is hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DuPAGE, ILLINOIS, on this 22 day of iMarch, 2010
