RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT
CRESTVIEW DRIVE WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT:
KEEPATAW DRIVE TO HILLVIEW DRIVE
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont requires that the Crestview Drive Water Main Replacement
project, be completed; and
WHEREAS, the Village seeks to utilize the construction firm of Conley Excavating, Inc. for such
work; and
WHEREAS, Conley Excavating, Inc. submitted a low bid for such work in the amount of
$270,748.50.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees that the Contract
with Conley Excavating, Inc. is hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DuPAGE, ILLINOIS, on this 8th day of June, 2015.

Engineer's Estimate $266,271.00
The low proposal submitted by Conley Excavating, Inc., in the amount of$270,748.50, is $4,477.50
(1.68%)above the Engineer's Estimate of$266,271.00. Conley Excavating, Inc. is qualified to perform
this type of work. We, therefore, recommend that the Contract be awarded to Conley Excavating,
Inc., 1555 Gramercy Place, Morris, IL 60450, in the amount of$270,748.50.
